As we have always been locally owned and operated, it helps us guarantee you that we can help you find the right piece of equipment without the pressure of a corporation. We promise that anything you buy from us is a reliable and ready to use piece of equipment or part. We may not always have the right part in stock, but we do our best to get it to you as soon as possible. From tractors to lawnmowers and generators, we have anything you need, and if you don’t see something you need, give us a call and we will be sure to find it for you.
Not only do we sell new equipment we also have used equipment ready for a new field to see. If the machines could talk, we are sure they would have some great stories to tell. Our used equipment has been serviced, checked, and cleaned. As we do not want you to have to worry about a thing when it comes to your machine when you take it home.
Our History
Alfred E Chicoine purchased the JI Case Garage in Storthoaks, Saskatchewan in 1950. Besides selling Case farm machinery, AE Chicoine was also a vendor of gas, oil and tires. The new farm equipment was delivered by train to Storthoaks from the factory in Racine, Wisconsin. In 1964, the current building was erected to accommodate the larger sized equipment and the growing parts inventory. Other structures and services have since been added to accommodate the evolution of the agriculture machinery.
After Alfred’s passing in 1978, sons Roland and Richard became shareholders in the AE Chicoine Farm Equipment. They continued to run the dealership under their fathers’ name. Currently, the third and fourth generations of the Chicoine family are working alongside Richard and Roland. In addition to family, AE Chicoine Farm Equipment employs multiple experienced, knowledgeable and tenured technicians and service personnel to uphold the dealerships commitment to premium agriculture sales and service. Like Alfred, all involved in AE Chicoine Farm Equipment strive to provide efficient service which is reputable across western Canada.
Along with Case IH, AE Chicoine Farm Equipment works in conjunction with a multitude of shortline companies which include Vaderstaad (formerly Seedhawk) since 2004. With a wide variety of available products, parts and service, AE Chicoine Farm Equipment is proud to be servicing its area for over 70 years.
